Rights to Xie Yousu’s painting exported to London
On April 14, 2015 the rights exporting ceremony of Figure Paintings by Xie Yousu was held at Phoenix Publishing and Media Group’s booth at London Book Fair. On the same day, the opening ceremony of Xie Yousu’s personal preview was held at #25 Wharf Street,in London.
Xie Yousu is an artist from Suzhou. His works have been exhibited and have won awards in many exhibitions at home and abroad. Among them, Zhouzhuang Twin Bridges won the first prize in the 2nd Exhibition of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Masters held by the Asiatica Museum of Oriental Art in France, and Xie Yousu has also held several personal exhibitions in France.
Xie has authorized English publisher Xanadu Publishing to publish his masterpiece Figure Paintings by Xie Yousu in Britain. This is the first time Xie has had his work published in a foreign country. His personal exhibition will also be held in London during the second half of this year.
Supported by Phoenix, Xie’s activities in London will be a great example for other Chinese artists in how to make use of the global market and find their way to become internationally reknown.
