Updated: 2015-09-21

Well-known infant picture book writers, rights managers and publishers are invited to share ideas on overseas promotion of the original works.

Phoenix Juvenile and Children’s Publishing Ltd., a member of the Phoenix Publishing and Media Inc. (PPM), displayed its publications for infants at the 22nd Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) on Aug 26, 2015.

The display, named “Share Childhood with the World”, showcased PPM's infant picture books that were published in foreign countries such as Britain, France and Vietnam.

During the event, many internationally well-known infant picture book writers, rights managers and publishers were invited to share ideas on overseas promotion of the original works. Hai Fei, former president of the Chinese Board on Books for Young People, calls Phoenix’s infant picture books “down-to-earth”, always focusing on the theme of enlightenment and cultivation.

With a number of original children’s works published abroad, Phoenix Juvenile and Children’s Publishing has seen an increasing global influence, said She Jiangtao, vice president at PPM. He also expressed his hope that the publishers of children’s books can promote outstanding original works to more foreign countries.
