Mang Ke's congratulatory letter |
Mang Ke is a representative of "Misty Poet", a literary movement originated in 1970s and reached its peak time in 1980s. It was considered "obscure" and "misty" since it did not comply with the aesthetic standards and reading style of the time. Mang Ke’s works were translated into many different languages. He now lives in Beijing, and is engaged in writing and oil painting.
