A Yi's unique life experience with lifes bring exceptional lucidity to his portrayal of the different faces of society. His craft, sophisticated and almost brutally, viciously accurate, pierces like a dagger to the heart of the reader, who will find such a quality most vividly manifested in his book.
His novel Wake Me up At 9 O'clock in the Morning will be published by Yilin Press. The Swedish version will be published by Chin Lit, an independent publishing house in Sweden, which marks a good start for A Yi in the European market.
