Business Chinese debuts at 2023 London Book Fair

Business Chinese is unveiled at the 2023 London Book Fair.

The Chinese version of Business Chinese was launched on April 18 at the 2023 London Book Fair, which was held from April 18 to 20.

Published by Jiangsu Phoenix Vocational Education Books Ltd, the book aims to help foreigners master business communication in Chinese and teach them about relevant Chinese culture.

Compiled by Chen Zhihong, a professor at Nanjing University, the book involves Chinese expressions used in recruitment, training, brand building, project management, and related areas.

Li Fengyuan, vice-general manager of Jiangsu Phoenix Vocational Education Books Ltd, and Anthony Lindsay Caplin, general manager of New Classic Press, ink an agreement on the export of Business Chinese's copyright.

A signing ceremony between Jiangsu Phoenix Vocational Education Books Ltd and New Classic Press on the export of the book's copyright was also held on the same day.

Anthony Lindsay Caplin, general manager of New Classic Press, said in his speech that China's contributions to the global economy have been gradually increasing since it joined the WTO in 2001.

The demand for Chinese-speaking commerce talent grows with each passing day, creating a promising market for business Chinese language books, added Caplin.

He noted that the publishing of the English version of Business Chinese will help the world better understand China's language, culture, and economic development.
