Seven publishing houses under Phoenix Publishing and Media Group, or PPMG, made the top 100 list in terms of the number of publications collected by overseas libraries in 2023, according to a recent report released in Beijing.

Phoenix Literature & Art Publishing Ltd again secured a fourth spot with 297 kinds of publications collected by overseas libraries.

The other six on the list are Phoenix Science Press Ltd (34th), Phoenix Books Ltd (36th), Jiangsu People's Publishing Ltd (37th), Yilin Press Ltd (45th), Phoenix Juvenile and Children's Publishing Ltd (68th), and Phoenix Fine Arts Publishing Ltd (76th).

The Collection of Strange Stories by Mo Yan, published by Phoenix Literature & Art Publishing, was collected by 37 overseas libraries and ranked third among Chinese titles in this regard.

The report, published by the China Publishing and Media Journal and Beijing Foreign Studies University, offers feedback to Chinese publishers in overseas markets and has won recognition from the industry, educational circles and relevant authorities.
