The head and editor-in-chief of the National Political Publishing House in Vietnam recently led a six-member delegation on a visit to Chinese publishing giant Phoenix Publishing and Media Group, where they met with representatives of the Jiangsu People's Publishing House.

Xu Hai, vice-president of PPMG, reviewed the exchanges between the two sides and explained PPMG's development in recent years.

Xu praised the Vietnamese publishing house's achievements in publishing theoretical readings and digital publishing and said he hopes to host a seminar in Vietnam in 2024, which marks the 15th anniversary of their cooperation, to showcase their cooperation results and further exchanges related to national governance.

The head of the Vietnamese National Political Publishing House noted that this is his first visit since assuming his current position. Since 2009, the publishing house has published more than 20 kinds of books from the Jiangsu People's Publishing House, which were well-received by local readers, he added.

He also said that he valued cooperation with PPMG and its publishing houses and expects more cooperation in the future.

During the meeting, the National Political Publishing House authorized the Jiangsu People's Publishing House to publish the Chinese version of Theory and Practice of Social Value of Laws in Vietnam, while the latter authorized the former to publish the Vietnamese versions of the Outline of Chinese Modernization, Interpretation of Four Chinese History Books, and Why Does Marxism Work.

The Vietnamese version of From Competency-based to Quality-oriented: Evaluation of Core Professional Quality of Secondary Vocational Students and Its Theoretical Construction and Practice of Standard System is published in September.
