The colored German version of Woodee's Adventure made its debut at the 75th Frankfurt Book Fair, which was held in Frankfurt, Germany from Oct 18 to 22.

Published by Phoenix Juvenile and Children's Publishing Ltd in 2003, the book was created by Jin Bo and tells the story of Woodee searching for the Old Man Cloth Bag, whose puppet lost a foot. It turns out that Woodee is the foot.

Chinese versions of Woodee's Adventure.

In 2012, the book's copyright was exported to South Korea and in 2021, Phoenix Juvenile and Children's Publishing Ltd inked an agreement with Germany-based Flieder-Verlag for the publication of the book's German version.

The colored German version uses illustrations by painter Zhu Chengliang and was published in both Chinese and German, with Leonie Weidel serving as the translator.
