Ethnic Migration, one of the books in the A History of China in Maps series published by Jiangsu People's Publishing House, has been collected by the libraries of world-renowned universities and academic institutions including Harvard University and Max Planck Institute.

The series includes four books - Ancient Capitals and Cities, Territories and Administrative Divisions, Communication and Traffic, and Ethnic Migration, and was compiled by geographic historian Ge Jianxiong, who thoroughly combed through the history of China.

In 2021, Jiangsu People's Publishing House inked a cooperation agreement with Canada-based Royal Collins Publishing Group to authorize the publication and distribution of the English version of the series.
One year later, the Ethnic Migration was published in English and has been praised for its high academic value, reliable translation and beautiful layout. The English versions of the other three books were published in 2023.
South Korean and Vietnamese versions of the series have also been published.
