Arabic version of the book The Way of Calligraphy is unveiled in Beijing on June 20.
The Arabic version of the book The Way of Calligraphy was published on June 20 at the 30th Beijing International Book Fair to promote Chinese culture in the Arab world.

The book, written by Sun Xiaoyun, chairwoman of both the China Calligraphers Association and the Jiangsu Provincial Calligraphers Association, not only reveals the charm of traditional Chinese calligraphy, but also showcases the richness of Chinese culture. It has captivated readers worldwide since its initial publication in 2010 and has been published in multiple languages, including Japanese, Korean and English.

The Arabic edition of the book was published by the United Arab Emirates' Al Bousalah for Publishing & Distribution FZE, and it has been showcased at international book fairs such as the Jeddah International Book Fair in Saudi Arabia, the Muscat Book Fair in Oman, the 2024 Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, and the Doha International Book Fair.
Sun, the author, expressed hope that the publication of the Arabic edition will bridge traditional Chinese culture and contemporary calligraphy with widespread reading initiatives and present China's stories to the world. She said she aims to help more overseas readers understand and appreciate Chinese calligraphy and culture.
