Updated: 2014-06-14

On June 14, 2014, in the city of Nanjing, Jiangsu, when the Namibian minister of Information and Communication Technology brought a delegation to Phoenix Publishing and Media Group, they discussed ways for Phoenix to set up a printing factory in Africa.

Joel Kaapanda and his group toured Phoenix’s digital POD (print-on-demand) production line, the Phoenix Culture and Trade Logistics Ltd, Phoenix-Xinhua Printing Digital Asset Management Center, a printing and binding shop, and the Suzhou Phoenix Culture Mall.

Kaapanda also had a meeting with the Chairman of Phoenix Media, Chen Haiyan, in which they reach an agreement on future cooperation.

In April, Phoenix established an International Agency in Namibia, later sending a business team to Africa; hence the minister’s visit, which is an important step for Phoenix in extending its business to Africa.
