The list of “Phoenix’s Most Recommended Books in 2014”, selected by Internet users and experts, was released on Jan 20，2015,and 20 books received awards.

Phoenix publishing houses nominated 135 books from a total of 2,385 books by publishing portal bookdao.com, in which 40 books were shortlisted

The 20 winners covered a wide range of subjects such as aesthetics, drama, history, philosophy, and biographies.

The judges’ panel was composed of Professor Lei Yi of the Institute of Modern History (CASS),Professor Liu Dong of Tsinghua University, Professor Zhou Xian of Nanjing University, Mr. Wang Zheng of the Jiangsu Writers Association, and the editors of various newspapers, periodicals, and websites.
