French painter visits Chinese children's publisher
The French painter, illustrator, and writer, Pierre Cornuel paid a visit to Phoenix Juvenile and Children's Publishing Ltd., based in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, on May 22, to discuss cooperation with the company.
Cornuel showed his work-- Les Héros, which is inspired by traditional Chinese paintings, and discussed his ideas about art and creativity.
He has produced more than 60 books and done a lot of design work for magazines, advertising, posters, and album covers. He received the Golden Canvas award for 2012 from the National Federation of French Culture for his art show, Femmes Rebels.
