The UK delegation also made an agreement with Yilin Press, a PPM member publisher dedicated to publishing foreign literature and social sciences. The press will take advantage of Birmingham's research achievements in history and Shakespearean literature to explore publication resources in these fields.

The University of Birmingham, founded in 1900, is one of the most prestigious universities in the world. Its disciplines including history, Shakespeare research, medicine, chemical engineering, energy and new material enjoy leading position in the UK. The university founded the China Institute in 2012 with the aim of offering a research platform for the scholars of Chinese studies and promoting academic cooperation with China.
