PPM seeks business opportunities in South Korea
A delegation of three publishing houses under Phoenix Publishing and Media Inc (PPM) has reached cooperation deals with a group of South Korean publishers during a visit to the country from April 11 to 15.
The delegation composed of Phoenix Juvenile and Children’s Publishing, Phoenix Fine Arts Publishing and Phoenix Education Publishing, met 13 South Korean publishers and organizations including Iconix, Gimmyoungsha, MiraeN, Wongjin, Wisdom and Hansol during the five-day trip, and reached cooperation agreements in copyright trade with the South Korean partners.
With Chinese children’s books going global, it is important to improve the professional level of book publication and export more copyrights, said the head of the delegation, who also mentioned that co-publication will be the new area cooperation between PPM and South Korean publishers in the future.
