As a professional book trade fair, the 24th Beijing International Book Fair makes great effort on promoting rights trade. PPM will take advantage of the fair to push forward its globalization strategy.
We will have more than 100 discussion sessions with publishers and copyright agencies from home and abroad.
We will meet with famous overseas publishers including the US-based Wiley John & Sons Inc, British publishers Walker Books, Pearson and Taylor & Francis Group, German publisher Axel Springer, Dutch publishing giant Elsevier, Thames & Hudson Australia and Japan’s Igaku-Shoin.
We will hold discussions with long-established overseas academic publishers, including Thai publisher Nanmeebooks, Yale University Press, University of California Press, Columbia University Press, University of Chicago Press, Princeton University Press, Cambridge University Press and Oxford University Press. We will also meet with copyright agencies such as Big Apple Agency.

In recent years, PPM has been dedicated to establishing platforms providing copyright services to promote Chinese culture overseas.
Cardinal Media LLC, based in Chicago, Illinois U.S., is a publisher of children's books for students and young adults. The company was founded in 2016 by PPM, and had published dozens of high quality Chinese illustrated books in English that were welcomed by American teachers and students.
Hachette-Phoenix Culture Development (Beijing) Co, Ltd. is a joint venture co-established by PPM and Hachette Livre. As a platform bridging the Chinese and international publishing industries, Hachette-Phoenix promotes quality Chinese books to the international market through its extensive global sales network. Many representative works by famous Chinese authors such as Ge Fei, Zhang Yihe, and Mo Yan have been presented by the French imprint Ming Books.
Xanadu Publishing Ltd., engaged in book publishing, marketing and distribution, and copyright trade, is a subsidiary wholly owned by PPM International (London) Ltd. The company has translated and published nearly 200 titles and periodicals such as Traditional Chinese Culture, Symbols of Jiangsu series, Chinese original children’s picture books, youth literature, children’s science books, and contemporary literature and poetry.
Xanadu Publishing (Australia) Ltd., based in Melbourne, Australia, is a subsidiary of PPM International (Australia) Ltd. founded in 2013. The company specifies in book publishing and copyright licensing business, and also promotes stationeries and cultural products to Australia.
The rights services providers are conducive to helping domestic publishers promote their books on the global stage.
