Phoenix wins two PIA Premier Print Awards

Phoenix Fine Arts Publishing, a subsidiary of Phoenix Media and Publishing, received two awards at the 2017 Premier Print Awards Gala in Chicago, Illinois on Sept 10.

The awards, presented by the Printing Industries of America — the largest graphic arts trade association in the US — recognizes the highest quality printed works in various categories from around the world.

Each year, only the most worthy pieces receive Awards of Recognition, Certificates of Merit, and the highest honor: The Benny statue.

Sixty Years of Taohuawu New Year Prints and The Collection of Paintings by a Couple: Paintings by Gao Made and His Wife Chen Ruqin, published by Phoenix Fine Arts Publishing, won the Award of Recognition and Certificate of Merit respectively.

Sixty Years of Taohuawu New Year Prints is a collection of the most representative works of Taohuawu New Year woodcut printing, which originates from the Taohuawu area in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province.
