PPMG enhances presence in Germany, France

Phoenix Publishing and Media Group (PPMG) sent a delegation to Germany and France to conduct cultural exchanges to strengthen its presence on the international stage from Oct 9 to 16.

The delegation was headed by Zhang Jiankang, chairman of PPMG, She Jiangtao, editor in chief and vice president of PPMG, and Yu Huixun, head of the global business development department of Phoenix Publishing and Media.

Organizing a series of book-related activities in Germany

Under the support of Confucius Institute Headquarters, Phoenix Juvenile and Children's Publishing, a subsidiary of PPMG, organized activities under the theme "A Childhood Resonating with Readers Worldwide — The Publishing of German Versions of Works by Cao Wenxuan". The activities were held in three German cities, Munich, Frankfurt and Heidelberg.

A book release ceremony, a forum and a literature discussion session, helped enhance the global influence of Cao Wenxuan and other Chinese writers, and the presence of Phoenix Juvenile and Children's Publishing and its parent PPMG in Germany.

On Oct 11, the opening day of the Frankfurt Book Fair, Yilin Press, a subsidiary of PPMG, signed a copyright export contract of the English version of My Seventh Uncle Zhou Enlai written by Zhou Erliu, nephew of the late premier, with British publishing house Alain Charles Asia.
