Chinese edition of Conversation with General Matan Vilnai launched

Readers can learn about the extraordinary personal experiences of the Israeli hero and get a glimpse of unique Jewish cultural traditions, according to Zhou. Israel has taken the lead in the world in terms of technological innovation and promotion of mass reading campaign, Zhou said, adding that he wishes for closer cooperation between PPMG and Israeli partners.

Matan expressed his gratitude for PPMG and Jiangsu People's Publishing for publishing his memoirs. He said it means a lot that the Chinese edition of his memoirs was the first to be published. Matan noted that though the book mainly focuses on his personal experiences, it also relates to the development of friendly ties between China and Israel.

He vowed that the end of his tenure as an ambassador will not impair his determination to promote extensive cooperation between China and Israel in sectors such as education and tourism.
