Five titles under the imprint of Phoenix Publishing and Medic Inc (PPM), a Jiangsu-based publishing giant, have been included as Classic China International Publishing Projects for 2018, the National Radio and Television Administration announced recently. 

Jiangsu People's Publishing Ltd, one of the most eye-catching branches of PPM with strengths in the social sciences and humanities, stood out from its fellow competitors with four titles on the list, including Korean versions of Values with Chinese Characteristics – Origins of Core Socialist Values in Pictures and Appreciation of Chinese Culture in 24 Aspects. 

The English edition of China Shield, published by Yilin Press Ltd, was also on the list. 

Initiated in 2009 with the aim of encouraging more publications to "go global", the program has been warmly received by both publishing houses and the public. This year's list was unveiled in February and has seen 101 titles under 63 publishing houses being honored.
