PPMG, Pace University catch up

At a meeting in Shanghai Oct 25, delegations from Phoenix Publishing and Media Group (PPMG) and Pace University looked back on their achievements and forward to future cooperation. 

Liang Yong, chairman of PPMG, said the past 12 years have seen the two sides maintaining a sound relationship and achieving fruitful results in cultural exchanges, book publishing, personnel training, and establishing a Confucius Institute. 

He looked forward to discovering new cooperative opportunities with Pace in publishing and benefiting from the university's academic advantages in artistic and cultural fields. 

Marvin Krislov, president of Pace, was relieved at PPMG offering consistent and solid support to Pace. He invited Liang to visit the New York-based school in the upcoming year. 

Krislov became head of the university in August 2017. 

Since 1906, Pace has been educating professionals by providing high-quality education on a firm base of liberal learning amid the advantages of the New York metropolitan area. 

A private university, Pace has campuses in Lower Manhattan and Westchester county, New York, enrolling nearly 13,000 students in bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs in its College of Health Professions, Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, Elisabeth Haub School of Law, Lubin School of Business, School of Education, and Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems. 

Pace has a strong hand in publishing, providing students with a comprehensive, fully integrated overview of the industry. Each course provides the opportunity to learn book and magazine publishing from concept through layout and design, budgeting, production and distribution, along with introducing new digital media strategies with classes on eBooks, magazine apps and social media.
