Park Yoon-kyu, CEO of ZIU Creative Culture in South Korea, visited Phoenix Publishing and Media Group (PPMG) from Nov 19 to 22 and shared ideas on moving towards a digitalized future.
Liang Yong, chairman of PPMG, welcomed his Korean counterparts and said PPMG is seeking efficient methods to yield more digital results. He hoped that with ZIU's help, the Jiangsu-based publishing giant could learn from the Korean experience, integrate overseas digital publishing resources, and seek more cooperative possibilities.
Park said numerous Korean enterprises have set successful examples in seeking and realizing digital-targeted achievements. He was inspired by their moves and wished to offer solid support to PPMG's transformation.
Park also had talks with other directors from PPMG and its wholly-owned subsidiary Phoenix Publishing and Media Inc (PPM), exchanging ideas on topics such as integrated publishing, content digitalization, domestic and international market exploration, and the proper balance between platforms and users.
He also visited an intelligent education center, an e-commerce branch of PPMG's distribution division, and carried out in-depth research on PPMG's digital businesses and assets operation realities.
