A festive celebration of the Chinese Lunar New Year of the Pig is held at Pace University Jan 31.

Established in May 2009, Pace CI is the first university-based Confucius Institute in New York City. It is the only CI in the world to have two Chinese partners – Nanjing Normal University and Phoenix Publishing and Media Group (PPMG), a publishing giant, in addition to Pace University, a private institution. Pace CI has stood out for its collaborations between the East and West, the public and private sectors, and the arts and sciences.
