Eight publishing houses under the Phoenix Publishing and Media Group, or PPMG, made the top 100 list in terms of the number of publications collected by overseas libraries in 2021, according to a recent report released in Beijing.

The figure marks a five-year high for PPMG.

Phoenix Literature & Art Publishing Ltd again secured a spot in the top 10, ranking seventh with 300 kinds of publication collected by overseas libraries.

The other seven on the list are Yilin Press Ltd (35th), Jiangsu People's Publishing Ltd (41st), Phoenix Books Ltd (50th), Phoenix Science Press Ltd (57th), Phoenix Juvenile and Children's Publishing Ltd (72nd), Phoenix Education Publishing Ltd (75th), and Phoenix Fine Arts Publishing Ltd (83rd).

The report, published by the Beijing Foreign Studies University and China Publishing and Media Journal, offers feedback to Chinese publishers in overseas markets and has won recognition from the industry, educational circles and relevant authorities.

The Jiangsu People's Publishing Ltd has made the list for 10 years in a row; Yilin Press Ltd for nine years; Phoenix Science Press Ltd for eight years; Phoenix Books Ltd for six years; Phoenix Literature & Art Publishing Ltd and Phoenix Fine Arts Publishing Ltd for five years.
