PPMG attends 2023 London Book Fair

The 2023 London Book Fair is held from April 18 to 20.

Jin Guohua, vice-president of Phoenix Publishing and Media Inc., led a delegation of 20 members from 11 of PPMG's subsidiaries to the 2023 London Book Fair, which was held from April 18 to 20.

The 78-square meter booth of PPMG is divided into three zones for exhibition, business negotiation, and activities, and attracted overseas publishers and readers with its exquisite book designs and bountiful cultural activities.

PPMG exhibited books of more than 200 varieties such as traditional Chinese culture, literature, poetry, and traditional Chinese medicine at the book fair. The group's overseas publications in recent years, including Jiangsu Literature Translated, the Symbols of Jiangsu, Fighting Epidemic with A Child's Heart: Big Eye Heartwarming Picture Books, were the focus of the exhibition.

PPMG also organized the launch ceremony for the English version of From Beginning of Life, the signing ceremony of the co-publishing of the English version of Dictionary of Chinese Cultural Knowledge, the launch ceremony of Business Chinese, and an interview with the editor and translator of The Greenfolk Trilogy.

Business negotiation meetings about copyright were also convened between PPMG and overseas publishing groups, including Taylor & Francis Group, Springer Nature, and Oxford University Press, during which agreements on 60 projects about international cooperative publication and copyright export were inked.

Initiated in 1971, the London Book Fair is the largest professional book fair in English-speaking countries and is usually attended by more than 1,600 participants from over 60 countries and regions.
