Representatives from Jiangsu Phoenix Vocational Education Books Ltd and Aberdare Cables Proprietary Ltd ink an agreement on Oct 23.

The English version of the manufacturing technologies of optical and electrical cables books published by Jiangsu Phoenix Vocational Education Books Ltd was published in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Oct 23.

At the launch ceremony, Liu Hongtao, vice-president of Jiangsu Phoenix Vocational Education Books Ltd, signed a licensing agreement on the use and promotion of digital resources of optical and electrical cables with Wayne Munilall, president of Aberdare Cables Proprietary Ltd, a subsidiary of Jiangsu-based Hengtong Group.

The series, developed by Jiangsu Phoenix Vocational Education Books Ltd and Hengtong, will support the training of Hengtong's overseas employees and be recommended by the South African Cable Association to relevant workers.

In recent years, Jiangsu Phoenix Vocational Education Books Ltd has been dedicated to the development of textbooks and resources for technical skills for manufacturing and has planned subjects such as elevators, power cables, industrial robots, internet of things, and rail transit.
