The Vietnamese edition of the Trip of Fourteen-year-old Boys recently hit the shelves in Vietnam.

The book is the first of the international initiative "Beautiful Childhood International Children's Fiction Books" brought forth by Phoenix Juvenile and Children's Publishing Ltd.

Authored by Hans Christian Andersen Award winner Guido Sgardoli, the book centers around two urban adolescents on a summer holiday and tells of their bewilderments and encounters along their journey.

The book made the list of Chinese Good Books in August 2018 and secured a nomination for the Chinese Good Books of the Year. Presently, its copyright has been extended to Vietnam, Malaysia, and India.

The "Beautiful Childhood International Children's Fiction Books" project, launched in 2017, invites writers worldwide to contribute childhood stories that showcase the colorful cultures and lives of different countries, while expressing positive emotions such as friendliness, kindness, justice, and tolerance.
