The author of Food Carving Art, Luo Guijin, first showcased his artistic work of a rooster carved from radishes, turnips, and carrots and demonstrated the process of cutting a rose on the spot.
Subsequently, using clay as the material, Luo demonstrated the techniques and skills of making dough figurines. A lifelike white rose and a lively pink pig instantly appeared before everyone. Many foreign visitors showed a strong interest in food carving and discussed Chinese culinary culture with Luo.
