PPMG shines at 39th Tunis International Book Fair

Tunisian President Kaïs Saïed visits PPMG's booth at the 39th Tunis International Book Fair on April 25.
From April 25 to May 4, Phoenix Publishing and Media Group (PPMG) and its eight subsidiaries presented over 100 publications and cultural products at the 39th Tunis International Book Fair, held in Tunisia's capital.
On the opening day, Tunisian President Kaïs Saïed toured PPMG's exhibition booth, engaging with the delegation and authors. President Saïed discussed the group's annual publishing output and operations with Xu Hai, editor-in-chief of PPM. He also spoke with Cao Wenxuan, China's first Hans Christian Andersen Award winner, about the global and Arabic-language publication of his novels.
China-Tunisia Publishing Seminar takes place during the 39th Tunis International Book Fair.
Throughout the fair, PPMG solidified partnerships by signing cooperation agreements with Tunisia's Oriental Knowledge Publishing Co and Lebanon's Digital Future Publishing Group. The delegation also engaged in extensive copyright trade discussions with leading publishers, including Tunisia's Dar Néhil and Egypt's Dar El Maaref. Additionally, PPMG participated in key industry events such as the China-Tunisia Civilization Exchange Forum: New Opportunities for Chinese-Style Modernization and International Publishing Cooperation and the China-Tunisia Publishing Seminar.
The China-Tunisia Publishing Seminar served as a platform to strengthen bilateral publishing collaboration. Keynote speakers included Ge Qingwen, President of Yilin Press, and Wang Yongbo, President of Phoenix Juvenile and Children's Publishing.
