PPMG's books make the list of Taofen Good Books

Five books from Phoenix Publishing and Media Group are selected as Taofen Good Books.
Five books from Phoenix Publishing and Media Group were recently selected as Taofen Good Books, according to the unveiling ceremony held in Beijing.
The event is part of the celebrations for the 130th anniversary of the birth of Zou Taofen (1895-1944), an outstanding publisher and journalist. The first Taofen Good Books awards are divided into categories including themed publications, literature, humanities and social sciences, children's books, online literature, and technology and audiovisual electronic publications.
The five selected PPMG books are Chinese Architect Yang Tingbao and His Works, The Story of Su Dongpo, Scenes of Kunshan, The Beauty of Reading, and Me and My Little Tail.
Chinese Architect Yang Tingbao and His Works not only focuses on the projects of Chinese architect Yang Tingbao (1901-82), but also highlights the architect himself, who is known for his professional skill and patriotism.
The Story of Su Dongpodepicts the different sides of the poet, including his roles as an official, husband, father, and friend, revealing his colorful and interesting life.
Scenes of Kunshan focuses on the pioneers and leaders who have developed Kunshan, a county-level city in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, as well as its current situation.
The Beauty of Reading is a new collection of essays by Zhu Yongxin, a well-known advocate for nationwide reading and a leading contemporary educator. The book examines the beauty of reading across four dimensions.
Me and My Little Tail tells the cheerful story of sisters Lele and Keke and their growth. It portrays what life is like for modern Chinese families.
