Phoenix Publishing and Media Inc, or Phoenix Media, a key player in the publishing and printing industry, headquartered in Nanjing in East China's Jiangsu province, has enhanced its brand influence worldwide at the 63rd Bologna Children's Book Fair, which was held in Italy from April 13 to 16.

Phoenix Media has set up an independent booth at the international book fair for two consecutive years, exhibiting over 200 premium books and culturally creative products from its subsidiaries.

During this year's event, the media group organized five cultural events to further enhance the international influence of its brand. It negotiated the trading of copyrights for several works in Arabic, German and Italian languages, fostering cooperation in art books for children, children's science books, educational resources, preschool education and integrated publishing.

Focusing on original children's works, it presented key publications such as Grandpa's Shadow. A special section for culturally creative products attracted numerous visitors.

Phoenix Media hosted several events, including a multilingual exchange meeting on the book King of the Milu Deer, the global launch of the picture book The Best Egg Ever, the release of the Polish edition of the picture book Oops! the Careless Pony! and the signing ceremony for cooperation between Oriental Kids Publishing and its counterpart in Malaysia. Yilin Press took part in the official forum of the book fair, participating in discussions about the cross-cultural communication of poetry books.

Delivering Watermelon, a children's book published by Phoenix Juvenile and Children's Publishing, won the Special Mention of the prestigious BolognaRagazzi Award in the special category of Fables and Fairy Tales.

As one of the largest and most prestigious children's book fairs globally, the 2026 Bologna Children's Book Fair attracted over 1,500 exhibitors from more than 90 countries and regions, highlighting the diversity and vitality of the children's publishing industry.
