Phoenix Media titles among 2016 Best Books in China
China Central Television (CCTV) announced the 30 winners of Best Books in China for the Year of 2016 awards on April 23, a date chosen to coincide with World Reading Day.
Three titles from Phoenix Publishing and Media Inc's were included on the list, the second most of any publisher in the country and the top ranking regional publishing group.
The chosen works were Children's Eyes by Phoenix Juvenile and Children's Publishing in the children's book category, The Chronicle of Lin Sanzhi released by Phoenix Literature & Art Publishing, and Waiting for the Spring Wind by Yilin Press in the literature and art category.
The annual campaign was organized by the publishing division of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, China Book Review Society, and CCTV. This year the judges chose 30 works across six separate categories.
